Have you ever noticed how nature speaks to us in the subtle moments between seasons? Here in the Central Valley of California in the United States we are awakening from Winter's Rainy Rest. The trees are starting to announce, along with the changing light that Spring is making her way. Each day I watch Winter making space for Spring's emergence.
The arrival is magical. Soft, delicate white blooms opening and leaping into the breezes. Light cutting into my afternoon office replacing the dark shadows. Everything an invitation to the enchanting dance of wonder and curiosity. Don't get me wrong, Winter remains here too, sometimes in the dampness and fog of the morning air, or even the occasional frosty crystals.

This has been another challenging Summer Season and we are finally arriving into Autumn weather allowing time to bring more space and air elements into the home along with the clearing nature sounds outside.
The Autumn Season is affiliated with our midlife years. These years bring new levels of change, transition, explorations into our roots of belonging, connection and transitioning our lives toward our later years. It is a long journey starting with the slightest dips in our fiery summer energies and, if we are blessed, into the late years of winter's final rest.
